Rental Stairlifts’ sister company Sabre Stairlifts was founded in 1995 to help people install the right stairlift for their needs with easy flexible payments and no worries about maintenance and servicing. And we have been helping customers regain their independence and stay in their family homes ever since.

Rental Stairlifts was created to give our customers a more flexible method of having a stairlift installed in their homes, and to take away any worries about maintenance and servicing. We offer a 24 month stair-lift rental warranty and a 24 hour breakdown service, and affordable monthly payments to make it easy for you to regain mobility in your home.

We have always prided ourselves on our level of service and felt it was important to offer our customers an affordable way of renting a stairlift.

Stairlift technology has not changed much over the years. Stair-lifts have become quieter, smoother and less obtrusive, and innovative safety features have been developed to prevent falls and to make transitioning on and off the lift as simple as possible.

We endeavour to ensure we install the right stair for you with minimum fuss and leave your house as clean and tidy as it was when we came in.

We also provide a local service throughout the UK as all our engineers and local to the area.

Sue Green now runs the company and uses her expertise as a nurse and former care home manager to help advise elderly people on the best stairlift for them.

Sue has managed care homes for different client groups including elderly, working age adults with disabilities, rehabilitation units and intermediate care. She has a good understanding of people’s mobility needs, long term conditions and the psychological importance of facilitating clients to use the whole of their home.

John Sugden leads the surveying team. John has 27 years of experience in the stairlift industry. He is also a qualified builder, this comes in handy when surveying stairs which are not standard.

Although things may be difficult financially for many older people at the moment, we will continue to help our customers with stairlift costs by offering our flexible rental packages throughout these turbulent times.
